We educate
We create educational social media posts that teach our community about healthcare access and life-saving basics.
Your health should not depend on your wealth.
We fund the medical supplies and hygiene essentials that local clinics and shelters need to care for people — regardless of what they can afford.
100% of funds go directly to those who need them most.
Why We Exist
A Patch of Hope is a youth-led, official 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that all families and individuals have access to the medical treatment and education they need — regardless of their financial circumstances.
We're led by local Amador Valley students who are genuinely passionate about making a difference in the lives of people who can't afford essential medical supplies and treatment. Being able to stay healthy is a blessing most of us take for granted — yet so many in our community quietly struggle with it. No one deserves to have healthcare be a burden in their life.
Everyone deserves care and dignity, no matter their circumstances.
Run by students who believe a small group can spark real change.
Every dollar goes to supplies, hygiene, and partners who serve directly.
Our Impact So Far
Numbers are placeholders — easy to update as A Patch of Hope grows. 💛
What We Do
We raise awareness about the lack of basic healthcare in our community — and then we do something about it.
We create educational social media posts that teach our community about healthcare access and life-saving basics.
We raise funds and gather basic healthcare necessities through donations, our shop, and community events.
We purchase hygiene products and medical supplies and donate them where they're needed most.
We offer volunteer opportunities so students can give back, build skills, and earn service hours.
The Issue
So many people believe they'll never have to face an emergency where they feel helpless to help someone in need. But the reality is closer than we think.
Where Every Dollar Goes
We're a lean, volunteer-powered team — so the funds we raise turn directly into supplies and support for people in our community.
We buy basic hygiene products — soap, toothbrushes, sanitary items, and more — and donate them to underfunded homeless shelters across the Bay Area.
We purchase basic medical supplies and donate them to the Berkeley Free Clinic, helping them care for people who can't afford treatment.
of every donation and every purchase goes straight to the cause — supporting shelters, clinics, and local nonprofits that share our mission.
Shop for a Cause
Every purchase funds hygiene kits and medical supplies. Buy something small, change something big. 100% of proceeds go to the cause.
